About the Agribusiness Outlook Forum

The 2nd Middle East Agribusiness Outlook Forum is an annual event which will focus on ensuring the region’s food security. This innovative event will feature a compilation of International experts and local leaders presenting you with a comprehensive platform to explore the development of an integrated food policy for the Gulf Region.

Food security is one of the most pressing problems of the present day. With an increasing population and climate change affecting agriculture, food as a strategic resource and commodity is more of a global challenge. In order to safeguard the food supply of a growing world population we need a highly productive farming sector on a global scale that is adapted to the specific conditions on the ground. The agricultural sector is, more than ever, faced with the challenge of producing more foodstuffs in a sustainable manner and making them available. Striving to meet current and emerging challenges of food security & water resources, this forum will provide up to date information by addressing this crucial issue which ranks high on the Governmental agenda.

Held alongside the AGRAme Exhibition, this conference will be ideal for those who are looking to examine the paramount issues of food security & water resources by hearing presentations on how to provide a sustainable supply of food that is affordable, nutritious and safe.

Scheduled for Monday, 2nd April 2012 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre, the Agribusiness Outlook Forum offers you an outstanding educational experience.
