Al Rawabi Dairy Company is a leading dairy and juice producer based in UAE.  Al Rawabi’s portfolio includes a wide variety of products in the milk, yoghurt, cheese, butter and short shelf life juices. Currently the company operates in UAE and Oman serving more than 13,000 stores with fresh products on a daily basis.

Started in 1989 with a herd of 500 imported Holstein Friesian cows in the farm at Al Khawaneej, Al Rawabi is today home to 13,000 cows.  The company is marking its 28th Anniversary this year.

Initially a dairy company, Al Rawabi ventured in to the fresh juice market in 1995, being the first to introduce fresh pasteurized juices in the GCC. 

With innovation at its core Al Rawabi has been a pioneer in launching functional dairy products in the UAE  by introducing Nutree Boost- a laban enriched with fruits, vitamins and minerals. Super Milk- first multivitamin enriched milk and Vitamin D milk- fortified with Vitamin D to fight the ongoing Vitamin D deficiency, targeting 90% population in the region are few to be proud of. While helping Al Rawabi to achieve its core vision to serve the Nation’s Health.

The company is awarded with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000, HACCP certifications and has received many local and international recognitions, such as AgraME Award for Best Dairy Innovations in the UAE, Dubai Municipality Award for Excellence in Animal Welfare, Super Brand Award, Best Environmental Practices award as well as being listed among the 40 strongest brands in the Arab World by Forbes Magazine in 2008 and 2015 respectively. 

Outstanding health practices are implemented at the farm to ensure optimum health for the cows. Al Rawabi is the only dairy company in the country to have an automated cooling system protecting herds from the heat.

The cattle feeds are processed internally under the supervision of our team of skilled nutritionists and veterinarians. Each cow is under a specialized feeding program designed as per the requirements ensuring maximum yield.

Introduction of latest technology and practices to help augment better environmental quality at the farm is in the core of our vision. We control the bad odor by developing biological techniques to reduce the growth of harmful bacteria at the farm. The iteration of embryo transfer technology is the latest addition improving the health and yield of cows while increasing the life span with greater immunity. Al Rawabi is also in the process of developing bio gas from manure helping us reduce our carbon footprint and assisting in sustaining a greener environment.
