Allison Bordes, Al Dahra Agriculture

We are the Platinum Sponsor of AGRA Middle East, and it is the largest agriculture show in the region, so it is very important for us to be here to develop our relationships with existing customers as well as look for potential new partners. We are looking for new areas to grow, particularly in animal forage

Edward Shaw, I.Q Forage

The show has been very good for us. This is our fifth time here in the last seven years. We’ve had a few strong leads so far, but one prime reason for being here is to extend our existing partnerships with our main clients in the region. We have been expanding our services in recent years so is important for us to be here

Nick Martin, Indigrow

We had a very busy day on the first day which was surprising as we were expecting the second and third days to be busier. Overall we are very happy. We have had about 30 serious enquiries so far, so if a third of those turn into actual business, then we have achieved our objectives of being here. Most likely will come back next year.

Cristina Fustero, Liverco Enhol agro

This is our 4th year as exhibitors here. We have met most of our clients and this is why we have returned year after year. I think it’s a great show to find new clientele within the Middle East. If this year is another success we will definitely be returning again next year!

A.M. Ateeq, Honaz FZCO

We are here today to offer new cheaper technology to customers. Event has gone well for us so far. We have received a lot of interest in our products and hope this continues over the remainder of the show.

Jaber Al Mazrouel, JBA Agritech

This is the first year JBA have participated in the exhibition. We are not here to sell our products but to raise awareness to visitors of the work we do. We have had a lot of interest today and hope the following days will be as successful

Paraskevas Kiriakidis, Meliton Farm Ltd

We have been busy since the doors opened this morning. We have had a lot of enquiries and hope they lead further after the show has finished. It’s nice to see international visitors at the exhibition

Keith Eyles, Alvan Blanch

The number and quality of visitors has been very good. The visitors that we see all seem to be serious buyers and are very interested in our products. If I meet ten people a day who are the right people, which has been the case, then I am very happy. The show is also very well organised. We decided to exhibit this year after skipping for a couple because as visitors last year, we saw how well it had improved. Will certainly return next year

Serena Ruggeri, Ma/ag

We are very happy with the show. This is our fourth year participating, and the visitors have been increasing and improving in quality every year. When we first exhibited, no one knew what our agriculture machinery was, but now we have had 10-12 very strong enquiries already, and a lot more people seem to want our equipment, particularly from Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and the UAE. This is very positive for us as it is expensive for us to come here, so it is important that we do business. We will certainly return next year, and we may even establish our own office in the region, as many potential clients require someone on the ground.

AGRA Middle East continues to draw more visitors
12% increase for 2013

The largest edition of AGRA Middle East closed doors on 28th March after attracting 12% more visitors to the event as compared to last year. AGRAme was inaugurated by H.E AbdulRahman Mohammed Al Oweis, UAE Minister of Health at the Sheikh Saeed Halls of the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. The opening ceremony was graced by commercial counselors and trade advisors from a number of countries.

Exhibitor feedback for the event has been excellent with many reporting onsite orders for products and services on offer. The exhibitors this year have shown great satisfaction at the quality of visitors and the enquiries gathered during the event.

AGRAme 2014 will be held from 25 – 27 March at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
